Hi, my name is Richard Tufts. In 1991, I moved to Missouri and have loved living in the area ever since.
As a child, I gained a tremendous enthusiasm for the outdoors - from fishing and hunting to hiking in the local woods.
The first 5 years of my arborist career I worked with numerous well-established companies, learning from many veterans in the trade and picking up the skills necessary to begin my own venture.
I founded Tufts Trees in the fall of 2017. In the summer of 2018, I partnered with my life long friend Carrington Kaskie. We strive to do honest and quality work for everyone and everything we’re involved with.
“For the Tough Jobs Call Tufts”
Richard Tufts - Owner
Hi there. My name is Carrington Kaskie. Like Richard, my childhood was spent in Missouri. I, too, share an appreciation for the outdoors.
On January 8th, 2008, at the age of 21, I enlisted in the Army. I left for basic training in Fort Knox, Kentucky, before being stationed in Fort Hood, Texas, where I was attached to the 1st Cavalry. In 2009, I was deployed to Iraq - while there, I reenlisted for another three years. I received orders to Fort Sill, Oklahoma, with the 31st ADA. Medically discharged in 2013, I went east spending a few years in sales before becoming an independent contractor, specializing in marketing as well as consulting for several car dealerships.
Upon my arrival back home, I decided to change career paths to something involving my passion for the outdoors. This is when Richard and I partnered up to grow Tufts Trees into the company it is today. Together, we ensure our wholesome customers will receive quality experiences and hope that when the time comes for those tough job, you will call Tufts Trees.
